Narrative
Hybrid of Amaranthus hypochondriacus and Amaranthus cruentus. One plant segregated from Ames 3078 (Montana H84-382) in 1989, because early blooming in long day lengths. Ames 3078 is black and brown seeded; this segregate is white seeded.
