Australian Grains Genebank Privacy Policy
The Australian Grains Genebank (AGG) collects personal information, such as organisation, contact and address details for the purposes of registering donor information when new germplasms are deposited into the AGG, or as recipient information when orders for seed are placed. Once registered, you can self-manage your personal information through your user profile.
This information is used to populate the Standard Material Transfer Agreement required for transfer of seed. Donor data for germplasm is displayed on the public GRIN-Global website.
No information is made publicly available as recipient of germplasm from the Australian Grains Genebank.
Any personal information collected, held, managed, used, disclosed or transferred will be held in accordance with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 and other applicable laws. Your personal information will be stored on Agriculture Victoria GRIN Global secure databases. By registering and using GRIN-Global, you are consenting to having your information collected, processed and stored by Agriculture Victoria.
